The Canadian National Memorial at Vimy honors the memory of Canadian soldiers who died in France during the First World War. The monument is located on Vimy Ridge where the namesake battle took place during which many Canadian soldiers lost their lives.


The National Necropolis of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette where about 45,000 fighters rest there. The site includes the cemetery, the basilica, the lantern tower and the museum, on an area of ​​more than 25 hectares. It is the largest French military necropolis.
